Hearts on the way
Here are pictures of hearts on my way. I bet God has arranged them to make me feel better. I think that every time I see a heart somewhere, God is saying: " I love you."
What a wonderful love, isn't it?
"I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me." (Proverbs 8:17)
"We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)
"And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16)
"As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love." (John 15:9)
"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you." (John 15:12)
"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us," ( Ephesians 2:4)
"He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love." (Song of Songs 2:4)
"Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee." (Song of Songs 1:4)
"For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." (Psalm 100:5)

Dry season - How to gain bread and water in a spiritual desert?
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." (1 Peter 5:10)
Is this what it looks like to you right now? Only dead ground around you and no signs of life? It's dry everywhere you go. Let me tell you; you are in a desert. Desert? Yeah, in a spiritual desert.
This desert is to make you stronger and to give you strenght and wisdom for the future ahead you. Imagine that you are a leader of a group of people and then something bad happens. Nothing hard about that has ever happened to you before. How do you get over it, if you haven't experienced anything like that before? While being in the desert it seems so ugly and boring and hard, but the prize comes, when the time is right.
"To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—" (Revolutions 2:26)
I know a quote that said: " God gives His hardest battles to His strongest soldiers." When I was in that spiritual desert, that quote opened my eyes. My desert time was about some months and it was such a terrible time. Here are some things about it and I want you to think if there is any the same that you have too:
- Feeling lonely. Loneliness. No others in the desert. Maybe just caravans and the people with their camels, but they are strangers to you, right?
- Not feeling comfortable. Is it comfortable being in a place full of sand? The sun is burning and It's too hot for you. And not to mention the coldness of the nights.
- Hunger and thirst. Did you forget to take water and food with you? No? Well, I guess you run out of them. Like you know, the desert isn't about the cool markets and shops. Only some lakes of water somewhere.
- Dejection. It isn't nice being in a desert, so you don't smile and laugh often. Sadness wraps your body and you just walk there alone like a vagabond.
You need water to stay alive. Jesus gives you water for free! Want more the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Being with Jesus and the Holy Spirit gives you strength. The water is for you. You will never be thirsty again when you are full of God's spirit. I know it's hard to worship, pray and be with God when you only feel like God was somewhere so far and couldn't hear you. He does hear you and wants you to come to Him. When you feel nothing in front of God, because of your desert, RIGHT THEN you should be with God. Every song and prayer, all of them matters even if you don't feel like it. Drink, drink! Drink the Holy Spirit! Drink the water and strength Jesus gives you!
You need food. Jesus IS the bread of life. The Word of God is the Bread of life:
"Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)
Read the Word of God. It will satisfy you and you'll be like a fountain or a bakery when you have God's Word in you and you share it. The Word of God isn't only for pastors and evangelists, it's for everyone. Like Jesus too, Jesus is the Bread of Life and also the Word of God.
When reading the Bible doesn't interest, pray for it. Pray that Jesus would give you interest in reading the Word. Don't worry, if you don't feel anything special when reading it. Still, it will come to you and start living in you.
- Be aware of the Devil. He will lie to you. Something like: " It's your fault, why you don't feel anything. God has abandoned you, He doesn't hear you. You won't be forgiven, look what you've done!"
- Don't give up. Remember, the desert won't last forever. It's just a time, when God is making you stronger.
- Be alert. Know where you are. Are you still on the same narrow path? Have you prayed less than usually? When did you go to church last time?

My desert time was about some months and it was such a terrible time. Here are some things about it and I want you to think if there is any the same that you have too:
Some signs of being in a desert:
- Silence. Not being able to hear God. The desert is a quiet place, because there are no sounds and no people.- Feeling lonely. Loneliness. No others in the desert. Maybe just caravans and the people with their camels, but they are strangers to you, right?
- Not feeling comfortable. Is it comfortable being in a place full of sand? The sun is burning and It's too hot for you. And not to mention the coldness of the nights.

- Dejection. It isn't nice being in a desert, so you don't smile and laugh often. Sadness wraps your body and you just walk there alone like a vagabond.
How to survive in the desert:
If you have these snacks with you, you'll survive.
Water
"but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:14)You need water to stay alive. Bread
"Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." (John 6:35)You need food. Jesus IS the bread of life. The Word of God is the Bread of life:
"Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God." (Matthew 4:4)

Something to remember:
"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings." (1 Peter 5:8-9)

Awesome Bible verses!
I have gathered here some awesome Bible verses. Most of them are my favorites. Is there any your favorites too?
At first, of course John 3:16.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
My favorite verse like John 3:16 too:
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
This one is one of my favorites too, because this is exactly what God told me once and He also said that I'm going to be like Joshua.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
This Bible verse tells us that Faith isn't just seeing. Faith is believing in something we don't see. If we see, then we KNOW. So, I think the quote: " I believe, when I see." Should be more like: " I see when, I believe."
"For we live by faith, not by sight." (2. Corinthians 5:7)
There is power in this verse, well of course there is power in every verse but every time I read this, I'm just like: "Whoa."
"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. " (2. Corinthians 7:1)
This one is very important.
"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
This is what I got from God too.
"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs." (Matthew 10:27)
I like this one. We shouldn't be ashamed of proclaiming the name Jesus.
“Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven." (Matthew 10:32-33)
We are sinful and need God's mercy.
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," (Romans 3:23)
I have a lot of more Bible verses, but I wrote these here now, because I didn't have time to continue writing about Jesus in my other thing. :)
God Bless you!

So let's get started!
My first and only blog
I have never had a blog, but now I do...tada! I'm from Finland, but I want to write in English so that everyone all over the world can read about the Lord Jesus! I'm also improving my English, of course. I'll write about Jesus, faith and something else too. I'm not a pastor or anything sooo my writings might be very simple :)
Something about my spiritual life
I'm now 16 years old, 17 years in March. I think I can say that I have been a believer my whole life, because I was born in a Christian family. What a blessing! I have 'grown' into the Kingdom of God. My mom and dad told me about God right from the beginning. I don't know the day when I accepted Jesus into my life and my heart. In my whole life Jesus has always been THE NUMBER ONE! I have always wanted more. The world and sin have never interested me, not even a little bit. I have always wanted to do God's will, hear Him, see Him and be with Him.
My HUGE dream
My biggest dream is to do God's will. I want to be a missionary by profession, I have wanted it since I was five or something. I love countries and all the people in them! I love languages and I speak five languages well and two languages just a little bit. I want to go all over the world and tell people about Jesus! I want to tell what He has done and what He is for me. I want to show people that there is hope, there is love, there is God. I think I'll write more about my dream later, because it's huuuuge, it doesn't fit in one page, haha :)Here's one of my favorite songs to tell something more about me :)
Love you earth!
